The Rustic Metropolitan
The Rustic Metropolitan is a 1500 sq ft, 1 bedroom condo located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC. My client wanted a rustic feel with a modern spin. Tehraney Design Consulting provided all of the custom painted walls in the 5 rooms of this project. The furniture was hang picked by our designers and art was commissioned by our lead designer.
The Home Executive Suite
This is the office of a client who's job shifted to work from home. After moving into a new home he decided to reserve a room for the purpose of an office that doubled as a dressing room. He wanted some something with a contemporary design that made a bold statement. Tehraney Design Consulting developed a comprehensive plan that included room positioning, wall coverings, furniture, and accessories. We then executed it over the course of 4 weeks. The focal point which in the art piece was commissioned from Tehraney as well and serves as the perfect backdrop for the clients video calls.
Eclectic Wonderland
Eclectic Wonderland was a total overhaul. It all started with all of the art that our client collected from travels. She didn’t have any of it showcased, and that’s what kicked off the design. We provided the hand painted double pin stripe wall which was a great backsplash for all of the art she owned that needed to be showcased. We added all new furniture and new lighting as well. This new design shows off her personality more than ever with lots of color and dynamic influence from her travels.

The Girard Series Part 3
The Girard Series Part 3
The Girard Series is a contemporary condo in Columbia Heights. It contains 3 projects from Tehraney Design Consulting and this is the third installment. This time our client had us totally revamp the hallway with this incredible hand painted wall design. We were also hands on with the art selection, framing and rug installation that covers the hallway floor.
The Springfield Sophisticate
This beautiful home resides in the suburbs of VIrginia and is home to a small family that just moved to the are. The homeowner contacted us upon moving in to help furnish and style their entire home with relaxing colors and a mix between mid-century and traditional vibes. We used just a few existing pieces of their own and a ton of new things to create this timeless masterpiece.
Industrial Chic
This project was so much fun to create! It was for two young professionals living in DC. They had just moved into this beautiful condo in the heart of the U Street Corridor in NW DC. They wanted something fun for entertaining and totally outside of the box for their amazing space. The first thing we did was install a brand new precision paint job in the common areas which gave the open floorlan a new identity which is constantly well lit from the floor to ceiling windows and doors. Added some color to the bedroom area and filled both spaces with a mix of industrial and modern decor. We also created a new light fixture above the dining room table for additional light.
Geek Chic
Geek Chic is the dwelling of two young professionals. They were looking for something colorful and fun to showcase their love of plants, bugs, and all things nerdy. This meant re-designing the entire space including the bedrooms and hallyway. Of course we started with a custom precision paint install in all of the rooms. We gave some rooms just a touch of paint and others a drastic change. We had some custom floating shelves installed in the front window to house the bevy of plants in the house. We also added some floating night stand shelves in the master as well as some new sconces and on the walls of both bedrooms. New decor including lighting, art, seating, framed prints, and a wood panel feature wall in the hallway reading nook.
